starving fish

to get a small fish around 4 inches to eat prepared food is hard!! i know im not supposed to be worrried but its my fish and its worth a couple of bux so whast the longest a 4 inch fish coudl go without eating. i dont want it to STARVE!!! by the way its a lates microlepis, or lates micro maire dunno which one????

I'm not sure how long they will survive but if you tossed it some prepared food every 2 days and be sure to clean it out before it starts to rot you should be fine. Eventually it will eat. Just dont ruin the pattern by feeding it live food as it will quickly revert back to wanting live instead of prepared

ummmmmmmmmm R u not feeding live at all..........?? some will never eat anything but live foods

fish can starve a very long time..but if it because u r not giving it LIVE when thats what it wants . thats another story

uhhh iono.... its a perch. i think perches eat prepared.heard they eat pellets too
