I don't think any one here would starve a fish. I never had to and never will starve any animal to make it eat something its not use to.
Guys what do you wana say about this thread ?
I know it is a very old thread .. but is this what even you guys have done .. is this info still valuable ?
Actually starving is not the topic which they have discussed in this thread .. a very old thread .. here people have just poured their soul out that feeders are very essential for juveniles .. so i wanted to know if the same trend is been followed ..I never starve my bass either I always use gangsters method in the sticky it works really well I have owned some bass that would only eat meaty foods tilapia shrimp smelt etc I would either stuff the meaty food with pellets or soak in vitachem if they spit out the pellets but I never starve it's more along the lines of tricking them to eat what I want them to eat![]()
Starving is the title but content is full of live feeders .. high temp won't allow the bass to get infected with ich inspite of feeding them feeders and the list goes on .. so i am curious to know .. this thing slightly mindwashed my head in bringing feeders .. but I am not yet convinced
Mine is on krill now .. they feed very little .. and spit the rest out .. the lfs had them on feeders .. initially for 3 days they did not eat anything .. after that they started taking krill .. but they just eat 2 to 3 and then they just chew and spit it out ..Personally I wouldn't use feeders if I didn't have to because of the health risk it's not just ich you have to worry about but that's just me, I'm not saying I have never used them that would be a flat out lie I have fed feeders in the past to my very first peocock bass he was a stubborn Bahia kelberi that I tricked with silver sides to get him off live then to tilapia shrimp smelt etc he eventually took massivore.
they are thinned out which is bit worrying latelyMine is on krill now .. they feed very little .. and spit the rest out .. the lfs had them on feeders .. initially for 3 days they did not eat anything .. after that they started taking krill .. but they just eat 2 to 3 and then they just chew and spit it out ..
