Is it okay to feed it to fish, just for an occasional treat? I had my parents save a little bit before, just for the fish. It's prime cut steak (fillet mignon), so I think it should be less bad for their digestive system than normal steak. Or is that just ridiculous?
Would it be better cooked? I don't mind giving them leftovers.

I wouldnt recommend it as it isnt part of their natural diet... unless they are piranha...

That type of protein is difficult for most fish to digest, don't do it.

I always wondered do fish have the same acidity in their stomaches as we do? Do their digestive tracts work the same as ours? Just wondered it could help with bloat issues if we knew more about their digestive systems.

i doubt they have the same acidity in their stomach because they would swallow water with their food and that would probably dilute it

Mammal fats are tough on fish. Beef heart is normally used because heart is typically very low in fat. The better steaks are marbled in fat. I would not feed steak, and be prepared to do massive water changes if you do.

I think its a bit odd that premium steak stills costs less than fish food, depending on the quantity.

I just ate some tonight. I think I appreciate steak more than my fish would.

Mammal fat is supposed to be bad, like the others have said, based on what I've read anyway.

i agree with merbeast and the others-dont do it lol.
