Texas was taken from Mexico. We all invaded this country. There were no native people to the Americas. Everyone came from some where else.
We created Nations. We drew imaginary lines that determine who owns what. These lines change over time. People all over the world break international laws that are more of a threat to you daily than you know about, but since you hear on TV that these invaders are a problem you believe it. Where in your life has this problem impacted you... By the way, when illegal immigrants use false SS numbers to get work, we still collect taxes, and then we keep the extra that would go back in refunds. More Americans abuse the welfare system and tax system than any illegal immigrants.
I live in Texas
Texas wasnt taken.Texas was part of mexico and the people that lived here rebelled against mexico AKA the Texas Revolution. Texas became its own Republic and then later was admitted to the U.S. Then mexico started another war with the U.S and lost. and as a result thy lost alot of land (the mexican cession).
Borders are not just lines. borders were forged through money or through war.
and then treaties were signed to agree on those "lines".
I am affected daily by immigrants. I walk into a resturaunt and the waiter "no habla ingles". I go to a little league baseball game and some
cholos try to pick a fight with me because i ask them to turn some "profane" music down.
True there are more americans abusing the welfare system.
but there are also way more americans then illegal immigrants. it would only seem natural that, that would happen.
maybe you should also take a look at the percentage of americans on welfare by ethnicity. i think you will find it intresting.

Working-age immigrants who are not refugees participate in both cash and non-cash based assistance programs at rates similar to working-age natives.
Immigrants with incomes below the poverty line are less likely to participate in cash assistance than natives with incomes below the poverty line. About 16 percent of poor immigrants use cash programs, compared to 25 percent of poor natives.
However, immigrants are also more likely to be poor than natives. About 15 percent of U.S. citizens fall below the poverty line, whereas 29 percent of non-citizens do so. About 11 percent of non-citizens have incomes less than 50 percent of the poverty line, compared to six percent of citizens.
Approximately 1.4 million immigrants receive AFDC or SSI payments totalling $4.5 billion annually. Their average monthly AFDC payment is $133; their average SSI payment is $407. Estimates using a more broadly defined package of benefits and counting benefits from state and local as well as federal sources indicate that immigrants receive approximately $25 billion annually in assistance benefits.
These are legal immigrants.
there children often recieve way more welfare than there parents.
