Found it :)

I have ben thinkin g about all steel, wall`s and all, just what to seal it wilth.
But there still the steel frame and ply/grp inner.......all depends on cost which i am about to do as been busy to get prives yet.

wayne:)

Ok now, i am moving towards a steel frame with ply/grp liner than a concrete block tank.
I have got a rough price...not cheap towards wood frame though, well obviousley hey:eek:, about £150 more.
The idea is to U channel of either 3 x1.5 x 1/4 wall or the 4 x 2 x 1/4 wall, the larger will be around £100 more expensive, but a lot more strength.......but will that more strength be needed??

Maybe the top and bottom ring/frame could be of 4 x 2 and the rest 3 x 1.5?

The base could have the U channel going both ways as its easyer to weld in beteen the bearers than it is fit a good joint with wood.

The frame will have bearers spaced at 2` along the sides and bottom and an angle iron type window frame that will be laminated from the ply to give a good ultra strong frame...............

sorry just thinking and typing as i go the thoughts i have, i would put them in a diagram if i knew how to on this PC gadet:irked::grinno:

Well then, who think that the idea is a goer with a 4 x 2 top and bottom and the rest in 3 x 1.5, all 1/4 wall thick?

wayne:)
