steel leader - Thanks jp

All right, I had trouble twice now with the steel leader. Looks like it's great for juveniles, but not so much for determined sub-adults: One P either didn't want to let go, or got its teeth caught in the line. Either way, it dragged the steel leader including weight criss-cross thru the tank and freaked out. Not pretty... I am trying this here next. Will keep you posted

They're around 7+ inches. I feed them chunks of catfish, tilapia, trout. Just ventured out into Mahi Mahi and salmon. Sometimes shrimp. Whatever is cheapest in the fresh fish section of our grocery store
I lost one P due to cannibalism last August and have been over-feeding them ever since. I rather pull out leftovers than lose another P. And fishing line or a skewer make it a bit easier. Then I don't have to get my long tongs out and dig thru the plants.
