Anyone else read his relatively recent book? Having just finished it there, I am impressed with his writing skills, and ability to draw me into the book; despite assailing me with subject matter ranging from mutilation and murder, to heartbreak lol.

Think i'll read a Tom Clancy before I'm ready for another King!

That pretty much describes my impression of Clancy's work.
 
The only book I've read of King's was Salem's Lot,years ago.

Ive got 'pet sematary' on standby, I think thats more traditional Stephen King horror and will get round to it at some point. 'Under the Dome' also gets good reviews

Misery was my favorite Stephen King book. I've read quite a bit of his stuff and I like his style. I might have to pick this one up.

fan of both movies

how does the movies compare to the books? I know the movies are always not as good but I really enjoyed the movies
 
Saw the film but never read Misery.I enjoyed it.I was a kid when Salem's Lot was released,both forms,so a well done remake would be nice.
 
large king fan here, fully takes up 3 shelves in my book case, think the gun slinger series my fave from him, waited years for next book to come out.. any one have any ideal what happened to under the dome?

last year I rewatched salem's lot for the first time since I was a kid too. it's still good but was slow at some points. but it scared the heck outta me as a kid
