Stepped my bass game up.

Man almost had a heart attack today... One of the Pinimas got around the screen and was on the other side with the big boys i just heard hella splashes and didnt pay it no mind. I then went to feed then some shrimp when I noticed only one in the area. I spotted him hiding behind the fx5 pipes. Man I dropped everything and started moving stuff quick before the boys realized he was there. I netted him and the boys were rushing the net. i put him back on the other side and re-secured the spot where he went through. He got a lil battered from the big boys but he should be fine. On a good note they both ate some of the shrimp i cut up. i will take a video of them when I feed them again later.

That was a close one! Could have turned out way worse. Try and secure the screen as best u can so this wont happen again

Just curious, what plans do you have for them as adults.

Plan 2 get a larger tank within the month or so to be ready for them for life. I want to see these guys get big.

Up the temp to 88/90 crush up pellets into powder mix with bloodworms and feed, they will be pounding just pellets in a week

Yea i will do that. I want these guys on a pellet diet for sure.

Lol they don't pound the shrimp as much. And the feeders are safe treated. Only trying to fatten up the smaller one he gets bullied

Try to feed the goldies crushed up pellets beforehand so the bass are used to eating pellet tasting things

Thats what i have been doing. I have a 75 in back that i put rosie reds n goldfish in and feed them foodsticks, sinking pellets and bloodworms mixed with the pellets.
