If you're thinking that I won't be able to hold my own here you're wrong. I'm a member of other forums who make the debates here look like camp Snoopy. Honestly though, I doubt I'll be around much anymore so I suppose you're free to say and do what you want. This forum will probably go back to the way it used to be and if that's the case, I don't think I wanna be a part of it.
 
so now that you don't have your powers as a mod, you don't want to be a part of this forum?

It is all politics. Often more heated and nasty behind the scenes than what you see in front of the curtain..Some sites see the use of a person like sandtiger others see it as "hurting the feelings of their core audience" so people with actual feeling, enthusiasm and expertise in a subject are often kicked out of such positions for doing what they should be doing..It "does not fit the feel" to squash ignorance or to actually moderate and keep things accurate, controlled and correct in some circles....

I'm sorry but MFK will never be a site that can have a valid Native fish section it is a site for young and newbie exotic owners and one for those that are not ecologically conscience. It has become a wasted effort as the catering to the kiddies has diluted anything that was good about the site just a few years ago.

As a long time member of this site. I can not help but to come here and just get pissed off at how the potential of this site has been wasted and squandered away just to appease Immature kiddies, trolls and know it all newbies....It's all about member counts and posting levels... not content, not substance and certainly not purpose..

I didn't see anything wrong with your modding... the only peeps I can think having a problem are those in heated debates about the ecosystem may gotten too puffed up. Too bad that you lost your powers. :(

Again, this is a section that need to be more carefully regulated by moderators due to some of the fishkeeping issues.
 
Ah well, without Arthur as moderator, there is no reason for me to continue to spend time here. I am also done.
BTW how do I discontinue my membership?

I didn't even know that he was being removed (what I don't know could fill a book).... but dosen't this whole thread show that he isn't ready to be a mod?

I'm amazed that you are trashing a whole site because a mod that you liked was removed..... maybe there is a good reason, I have no idea.

I'm allways amazed at the open mindeed poeple who are all for freedom of opion as long as you agree with them.

Why not start your own native fish forum? I'm being serious.... you could put together a site of verry knowlagable fish keepers and help to set national policy..... maybe work with the habitatadute (spelled wrong) to help educate the public.
