if they eat, live, breed, survive in Russia that certainly WON'T have ANY problems in the US

Yes this is obviously true, I haven't seen anyone dispute this so what is your point? This also is one of the reasons I don't think they should be imported into the US. The last thing we need is for a sterlet to be caught in a river or lake or worse have them become established in North American waters.
