I am a bad person to ask. I have killed all of mine. They need cool water and alot of current. I have provided both and they still died. I have found once they start swimming in a circle it's only a matter of time.

I have five sterlets in a 150, for now and hearing all of these horror stories is a shock! I breed rare african cichlids and the sterlets were just given to me by a friend. I had know idea what the were at first but I have had them for about 2 months and they are doing fine. water temp at 78, no salt or anything special for them.
