Umm I love seafood but I must admit that that doesnt look that appetizing!

I didnt know people ate sturgeon though. I thought we just used their eggs.

Indeed, a buddy and I shared the smoked mackerel and smoked sterlet. I have to admit that the mackerel was somewhat better. The sterlet's armor was hard to pierce, even with a sharp, pointy knife. Matter of fact, I cut my fingers on its bone plates when I took it apart!

The meat is not as moist as mackerel. Still: tasty

Gotta be one in downtown baltimore... either at the market or some sort of resturaunt.. Knew my people were good for something.. just didn't know it was for smoked sturgeon...
