thats really a cool video thanks for posting steve was by far my biggest hero when I was growing up died too earlier but accomplished so many things in the conservation field and showed the masses how cool the animals he worked with are

dude was my hero. the day he died I bought $50 worth of his "Wildlife Warriors" wrist bands. still have some haha.

Didn't really understand what I saw at first. I was only 7 when it happend. But I read up on it a little more and apparentley the Camera man scared the ray towards steve, in which steve was just above it. Rays have a very sensitive electrical field sense and could feel the beating of steves heart, that's probably how the stinger went right there. Probably a defense against predators like sharks.
