Steve the Savannah monitor is a varanid. But still doesn't need UV.

I was just backing loconorc and varanio. Unfortunately for loconorc, Water Dragons are agamids.Although, my friend kept a Frilled Dragon without UV, but that guy gutload his bugs with calcium and D3. Of course, he said he rather have an overworking, but not stressed, set of kidneys over UV burns and excess UV exposure.

I wouldnt say its that great... but its better than a lot I have seen.

Nope, dont need it. Its mainly lizards that are herbivorous or omnivorous, with a few exceptions. Same with turtles. And snakes dont need it at all. But if you want to use it, whatever, it wont hurt anything but your wallet.

The cage is 5 feet long, 2 feet wide and 2 feet tall. Steve seams to like it.
