Thanks for the input Crazy! Good to know.

I've been having trouble securing some gutterguard around my overflow to keep fish out. But I had a thought... What if I cut out a few teeth to significantly increase the overflow's flow, but covered my drain pipes with gutterguard and zip tied them? Wouldn't that be the same thing?

TODAY:

With Johns help he got the gutterguard perfectly covering the overflow.

Updated my stock.

Plumbed both 40 gallons into the system but one of the bulkheads of course has a leak. Once I fix it, I will have 2 growout tanks in my setup!

I decided I'm not going to do clown loaches at all. They are too slow of growers and everyone wants my future first born child in exchange for them.

Right now I'm at:
1 temensis, 3 silver dollars, 1 royal pleco, 1 poly ornate, 1 poly delhezi, 2 marble goby, and 2 red head geos.
Still looking to add that flagtail and thinbar datnoid.

Added a few lights and hooked them to an extension cord to plug into a timer. Completely separate from the light switch that controls the basement ; )

The crappy blurry cover over my phones camera makes them look 10x brighter than they really are.

The delhezi hasnt eaten yet, but in 5 days I am already noticing some growth in the ornate. the two sand gobies havent eaten much either. Cant wait til I have some time to get shrimp and pellets. Bloodworms will break the bank haha

What do you guys think....

Nice center piece of driftwood, 4 or 5 mono or ocells, or two more tems? may go with the wood. Found a nice piece on Ebay for 85. Still makes me cringe though. Its still only wood lol.
