stick to the wolf or go to something else

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
well, i can get a bowfin for free. i wonder if i get a bowfin about the same size as the wolf, redo the tank, put them both back in at the same time, how it will fly. a friend can catch them all day long, he has 3 in his tank right now. either he can catch me one, or he can trade me one of his. lol. but there are alittle bigger then my wolf

a large cuda would be kinda cool, don't know if they have the same hit power and feeding show as the wolf, never had one, and there ins't much on youtube about them feeding.

It can go either way but you have to understand that the mind of a wild animal or fish thinks a different way. The wild fish will have more aggression and hunting ability

not to mention that a bowfin gets way too big for a 75. You should consider that in the fish you listed. The Mala is pushing it. when it gets big, it will be neat to have it in there. I love my Mala but he is fine with tank mates too and is about 10".

i thought my mala was fine with tankmates till he wrapped his jaws around my clown knife. Too unpredictable!!!

o, im sorry, 75g isnt the biggest im going. i havent updated my tank list in awhile, i am moving soon, and going to go to something around 125g if it's needed, depending on the fish i go with.

as stated not worried if i have only have 1 fish in the tank.

for some reason i thought if a fish was rasied in a tank it was more aggerive since it was tank dominant. my wolf been in his tank since he was 3 inches. killed off a oscar within 5 mintes( buddy didnt know he was in there) oscar was 5 inches. also took out a 8 inch round goby in a hour when he was 5 inches. this is why i thought was the other way around when it came to tank vs. wild. just alittle insight.

yes i am fairly new to alot of fish, but i have the bank and the know how to keep them alive.

it can go the other way but my friend had a male jag and purchased a wild female about 3 inches smaller and after 2 days the female destroyed the tank raised male
