Still a Little Worried

The Pikes will grow fast and the Xingu I can be pretty nasty. When they get a lot larger don't be surprised if you find a dead or missing sajica or con. Also he might tend to pick on your sevs considering they aren't real aggro.
But from that photos he looks pretty good to me. Dorsal & fins are erect. ( not all clamped down)

I am well aware of the aggression, as I have had to move one of the pikes already. Thanks for the tips. This is the info I was looking for :) They will end up in a divided 120. Will that do for life, or at least a few years? The tank is 4x2x2 divided in half? Or would they do better in a 6 foot tank? I plan on breeding them in the future.

that should be fine for quite some time.......Oh, by the way, the little guy looks fine IMO. Very nice looking Xingu

He/she will be fine in a 120. Males get to around 14". Just be carefull with what you house with them, also it would be better to grow his tankmates with him as he is liable to batter or kill new additions when he is older.

No mates in their future. just a 120 for the pair :)

oh cool, that will be good for life, hopefully they end up getting along......put in some dithers to keep them busy.
