Got a few photos early this morning. still have no idea what these are going to be. for anyone who didn't read the earlier posts basically i inherited them from a stranger i sold some bala sharks to who had also inherited them as red devils as far as he knew. Thought a bit strange as he just turned up with this bag of 8 babies but thought "why not , i've got the room so i'll give it a go". 1 turned out to be a mollie so i started to get suspicious and as they've grown they look less and less like rd's. 1 month old now and range from prob 3-5cm now and growing fast now. blue striped colour in the morning which they keep but gets slightly fainter once they've adjusted to the light.

Permanently hungry and really strike their food at lightning pace but don't quarrel and often swim in shoals and hunt in packs when eating. Dance madly as soon as anyone gets within 6 feet of the tank. I've emailed rapps to see if he knows what they are but no reply.

here's their vid:

not lyonsi.

my guess would be midas/rd that still havnt changed to orange yet. do they have faint blue rings on the spots on their body at all?

looks like a flowerhorn/something to me.

I don't know what they are but i do know that they are not devil's when devil's are that size u would see some red color coming on and no stripes.

Actually, thats what my pie bald red devil looked like at that size. It wasn't until it was almost 5" did it actually start to get the colors...kept the bars till then...;).

Can't see properly but i would say they are young Labiatum or Midas maybe Lyonsi but not 100%
