yes I know how an adult salvini looks like, but young salvinis have kind of similar colours like the fish in the last pic.
 
hmm dont know, i do know they arent sals as the store has sals and were smaller and more red ect more salvini looking
 
Looks completely Vieja. Especially in the darker of the two. I can't pinpoint an exact species, though. Probably one you're going to have to wait out to see some markings. And as said with about every small vieja id, possibly hybrid.
 
he is saying most people cant id small vieja which is fine i guess just curious what to call them when people ask. they are awsome fish come right up front when i walk in. not agressive and have some awesome blue spangling when your up close but its hard to get on camera
 
Could be zonatus but it's really tough when they're smaller. Nice looking fish though either way, can't wait to see some pics when they're bigger.
 
yea i plan on keeping them, my chocolates may have to go though they are getting owned either by each other or the red tiger mota
