Almost two months now; no word?

Been keeping an eye out but yea he’s MIA!
Just putting his sudden lack of activity to going on vacation or simply having a breather from the forum for a while just doesn't add up for me, not one bit.
He loves this forum and was on it every single day doing his thing, giving advice and being nice to everyone. There is no way he is having a two month "breather". And who goes on holiday for two months without popping in and telling us what a whale of a time they're having?
I'm a realist and I honestly hope and pray I'm wrong but I think something bad has happened, I can't even bring myself to say it, it's horrible just thinking about it.
But of course the nature of global forums such as ours means that you never get close enough to anyone where, if tragedy was to strike a fellow member, the chances are you'd never get to find out for sure. They're just there one day, and gone the next, never to return.

I do hope you are wrong, Esox, but...as you say, who knows or is likely to ever know?
I will say that my ideal vacation involves no texting, internet surfing, phoning or other contact with anyone. But I'm talking about 2 or maybe 3 weeks in the boonies...not 7.

I hate to say it but i think you are probably correct.
Its too out of character for him to just vanish without a word and most likely too long for a holiday or broken phone. He seems the sort of guy who would at least let everyone know he is okay if he had decided he was leaving the forum .

I've seen a lot of members come & go on the two forums I participate in, but none as noteworthy as Mr. Lindsey.

is running for president and is busy on the campaign trail. Hell, i would vote for him, always has the right thing to say.
