That should work. It may get crowded so thin them out as necessary.

I would recommend a sump for that size tank.

I used two fx6’s on my previous 225 and had to add a third canister. Also, doing maintenance on them would really suck. Sump all the way.

They’ll work. Just keep an eye on nitrates.

The way I set mine up is I removed the botton circular sponge in the bottom tray. I kept the outside perimeter sponges intact.

I filled both bottom trays with bio media. And then filled the top tray with filter floss.

It made maintenance easier since I just replaced the floss every few weeks and did a deep clean once every six weeks. You may want to add a third filter.

Ok that was my plan, it kept making air bubbles until I took the middle sponges out I’m just gonna get a bunch of filter floss for the top one, also do you know any places I could order these fish, I live in Canada Alberta so finding fish is a little tough
