No where close pbass get to 16" 18" inches easy in the home tank i keep 2 of mine in a 250 gallon and they are a little tight return them or get a bigger tank expect 1-1.5" growth each month unitl they hit like 6-8" then they slow down DO RESEACH

You can't be serious. Try 18" or better depending on species. Next time do a little research before you buy a fish. Youre going to need a lot of water for those bass if you keep them to adult size.
 
i was joking - are you guys serious??? im pretty sure the majority of people on this site know how big they get - i amazes me that someone always has to post a comment when someone says they are keeping peacocks in a small(er) tank. you dont have to thrown them in a 250 as babies
 
i always keep m with little jack dempsey about the same size as the cichlas are i useally do 4 young cichlas with 15 jacks the jacks frenzy the food so the cichla will also for the simple reason that there isnt anything left else if they dont so in a few days they ll eat and live feeding is crucial in the young stage

I like to think this should give you an idea on thier potential size.

i think there is a thread on this but depending on your tank size you could get silver or black arowanas, bay snook, oscars, large cats
