I would say ocellaris. I say that because of the red eye. Most mono's don't have the red eye. Or it could be one of the mutant mono, ocell crossbreeds....

Try to get a pic of one with the dorsal fin up. That will also help determin what it is...

Nah I don't.

I just make sure I collect them from a healthy part of the creek. Usually where running water is.

If there are any fungus looking ones I try and get them out too.
 
looks like ocellaris with the red eye.... no mono i ever had.. had red eye like that ;) slso has more shorter face then a mono
