i see nothing good out of that combo.... maybe is the tank were 3x the size it would be possible....
I would not do a ray , They can not fight back or thrash to roll out of a all out

I almost did this but then decided not to. Like everyone has said the ray will not be able to escape possible piranha attack. Maybe if the piranhas are well fed, but even then its a huge risk, and rays are not cheap. I would try putting a big tough pleco in there if you want some variety.

best thing to cohab with piranha is decorations (live or fake plants) rocks, and maybe a pleco, but expect the pleco to become lunch at some point.

if you want to keep both, why not get two tanks? there are metal stands available that lets you place two tanks (kinda like a bunk bed).
hey thanks no one i know of in this town i live in knows anything about redbellys or if they do they aint talkin they seemto only know about gold fish and i all ready have a pleco but im missing two chinese allgae eaters if anyone finds them lel me know k
