I was having a tidy up and i found a couple of my old stingray spines. My marble has recently shedd his but ive not found it yet. I put my LG cookie in to show size on the biggest one lol

Mostly Tatauaia, but 1 big Armatus one for sure.

well considering i threw them out....


not all from my rays either... friends rays, LFS and salt rays... i had a large collection...only kept a few and they are up with my jewler in the city..

I found that leo stingers are more flat in comparison to a motoro's.

same with flower rays. wider along the whole length and flatter when compared to motoros which tend to curve and taper gradually along the length. ill take a pic tonight of the flower ray barb

Im talking about the supposed 6" ones.

im going with they are from salt rays... there is one just shy of 6" that was from a almost 2' motoro... when they come back from the city ill post some pix for you..

Here are mine. Most are from my motoros. Larger ones are almost 3".
