I found my male marble with a stinger protruding from his head. WTH am I supposed to do with that? Thought maybe he tried to eat it and it poked through or he buried in the sand and impaled himself. Thoughts?
Anyone else have this issue?

Wow, that looks really bad. How long has it been like this. If he's still swimming around and eating then I would say it didn't hit any vitals on it's way through. I would look into sedating him and pulling that barb out. You don't want to leave it in there and have him rub it up against things and cause a bigger tear. Best of luck to you, whatever you decide.

I would catch him and put him in a small container, put him to sleep with some MS-222 or some oil of cloves, wearing some protective gloves slowly pull the barb out,get any small pieces out with tweesers if nessesary, use a cotten swab dipped in iodine to clean out the cut ,and put him back in his tank or quarintine.

:WHOA: Is that his OWN stinger???!?!!!?

This sounds like good advice. I think it should be removed.
