Stinger in Male Marbles Head!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
That has got to be one of the most amazing pictures of a ray I have seen yet! I think I have heard of this before on MFK, have you tried searching it to see if it has happened before and what they did?

I have had this happen before, Just grab it with something and pull it out. It will heal up very fast.

The spine looks to have come up from the underside.Lucky for you its missed the vital organs,i agree with the above advice, just grab it firmly and pull, its almost out by the looks of it plus its going the right way with the serated edge on the spine so wont do anymore damage....the hole will heal fast.I too have had this problem in the past.
Good luck!

Thanks for all the advise guys. The stingray simply blew it out after a while. :headbang2I didn't even have to get my hands wet. It appears to have gone in through a gill on the underside. No real damage. Just a little abrasion. I fed him shortly after and there was no hesitation or lack of voracity. Everything will be just fine.... I hope. LOL.

I heard of those accidents already more than one time. Seduction is not really necessairy.

My P14 had a stinger in his belly. I just caught him with a net and pulled it out.

Haha! Ray Seduction. :nilly:

It happening with my female motoro..the sting(her sting ) was so deeply stab. I use a koher tool and very slowly I pull it out (after immobilization in a small vase). For me it’s a mystery ..how could to happened this?
