The redness was there when i put him in the tank. I hope the substrate is ok its just large grain sand which looks and feels pretty well rounded. Its only been 2 days but at this point he seems to be doing well and he was eating like a pig as soon as he went into the tank which i take as a good sign. The redness does appear to be fading by the way. Rays are great and i hope everything works out for you. =)
