what is the chance they can co exist in one tank

i have a 900 gallon, 10'x4'x3'

stocklist

one 30" red arowana
three 6" indo tiger
three 13" parrot fish
five 14" peacock bass
five stingray size from 7"-26"

i know mbu puffer will eventually grow to 25"-32", and the one i just aquire is about 6". can i keep it in a long run.

none of my fishes eat live food, they eat mostly pellets, silverfish, mp, smelt.

thanks for all the opinions.

It's working for me in a 450 gallon. I have rays, tigrinus, pikes, black arowanas and armatus. The puffer eats just about anything except dry food. To keep its teeth worn down I feed clams in the shell, shrimp with the head on and some of these are about 5" long. I also have bought frozen crabs, etc.. that you can get at the asian supermarkets. I have been told that the Mbu puffer could mistaken a stingrays eyes for snails when poking out of the sand but mine has never shown any interest in the rays. This combination might not work for everyone but it has for me for over 1 1/2yrs.

Thanks! The lights are Hagen Glo T5 HO. These are double bulb fixtures.

Loving that Combo, a red aro would definitely add some color to the tank :naughty:.

I forgot to mention that my pikes bite the tail of the Mbu once in a while and it drives him nuts but he doesn't fight back. I would be worried about your Asian arowana and indos picking on the Mbu. The peacocks being 14" might even eat the Mbu if it is only 6".

I've kept mine with rays for 1 1/2 years and it's around 10" now but has never shown any interest in my rays. I've also found a good use for the nls mega fish formula pellet as it likes to break them up being that they are super hard which I guess is helping the teeth. Saves me from using a hammer to break up and feed my rays. lol

Scott ....... is your mbu eating the pellets, or just smashing them up for entertainment value?
