Stingray and Oscar??

Are you guys sure, Ive seen a tank that had 5 rays (2 leopoldi, 2 motoro, 1 pearl), a silver arowana, and a pair of red oscars, and they seemed to get along fine. It was a 96x36x24, huge tank, with a homemade sump, not sure wha the capacity was but probably about 60 to 80 gallons. I know the general concensus is that its a bad idea, but this guy seemed to pull it off, and there were no signs of aggression (at least I didnt see any and he told me they got along fine). It looked great btw, as the rays on the bottow, the aro skimming the top, and the oscars occupying the middle ground really gave the tank an interesting look.

The only cichlids id trust with rays would be cichla and petenia.

cichla is a gamble with rays.... Li had one eat a rays tail and a few others have had bad luck....

oscars are messy and not a good choice imo.... but your pond is not even big enough for the ray...

I don't know, I have severums with my ray and they ignore the ray. The ray even steals worms right out of the severum's mouth.

But an oscar, no, too messy and too curious, may pick at or hurt the ray.
