Hi guys. I’m new to stingrays really. I’ve had a mini marble ray for about a year and a half now. I separated a male as I thought he was being too aggressive when trying to mate. However! After I had sold him, I found out she is pregnant. Anyway, I have just had a new male. He instantly showed attention in her and started flapping like crazy on her. After a few minutes of this they just sit on top of each other. Is flapping like that a sign of aggression, mating, or making friends…..?
