Stingray biting aro?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
The weird thing is that there is another silver aro in there and it is on the bottom all the time and it hasn't been touched

Its sounding like the ray got snappy. It happens. Maybe this particular aro just pissed it off.

I've had multiple silvers and never had one that stayed towards the bottom. Maybe they are trying to avoid the other more aggressive fish?

Of its damage from a ray it will be to the gills. I would bet it's from other fish or damage from trying to run away from other fish not likely the ray

The only other aggressive fish in the tank are a 13" dat and an Asian aro, but they have all been together for 6 months with ok problem. And it also doesn't look like damage that could be caused by either of those guys.

Hold up

You have a Asian aro and a dat with the silver now we are getting somewhere

Dats can turn on a aro at the drop of a hat I know of many dats that can never be mixed with aro

A silver and a Asian aro I nearly a sure thing you will get problems
The Asian aro will beat the silver easy

If it's not a problem now it will be

I can't seem to get any pictures uploaded off my computer either. I keep getting a red exclamation mark next to the uploaded image file.

Post them to facebook then copy them here or down load them from facebook to your phone then post here, thats the work around

need pics but id be assuming it wasn't a ray that caused the damage... id be leaning more towards the other aros
