I am facing a serious issue. My Stingray (leopoldi) came in touch with salt and appears some burn in its skin.

I think it suffers and doesn't move. What I have to do?

I made a huge water change, but doesn't helps.

Please help!

salt /heater burns tend to take a long time to heal, plus it will most likely leave a scar/mark after it heals.
the best thing you can do is keep your water pristine and the healing will happen on its own.

Pics and more info, why do you think it's salt did you add salt?

I really appreciate your help.

I just throw the salt into the tank and I forgot to melt it in a glass of water. For 30-40sec the salt remained onto the stingray.

The water is clean and I used Melafix (API) as first aid. http://www.apifishcare.com/product.php?id=629#.VEZR-5OUcxc

Photos Attached.

Basic Info: Tank: 1000lt, PH=7.5, NH4=0, no2=0, no3=0. Temp: 27 C.

The stingray doesn't move and doesn't eat anything.

Photos attached. Your help is appreciated. IMG_4416.JPGIMG_4414.JPGIMG_4412.JPGIMG_4411.JPGIMG_4410.JPG

I tend to agree but my question is what type of salt are you adding to your tank? Do you have your heaters covered in the tank? Any rocks or other stuff in the tank to cause injuries? Hope your Leo does well and recovers

Salt wouldn't have done that.
Imo
