stingray curl

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Just take the rocks out and do bare bottom. I have my rays in Bare bottom right now and that's the way I want to keep it. Gives the tank a clean look, make it easy to clean. But just add salt and raise temp and hope for the best. Hope your ray pulls through.:)

hey so before you go pulling out all of the rocks from your setup, a couple of questions:
1. how long has your tank been setup for?
2. what's your filtration?

the reason I ask you this, is because if you yank all the gravel all at once, you will be left with a "new" un-cycled tank...forgive me if you know this already...

the tank has been set up for over a year now, and i have a canister pump, and i gave up on him just gonna let him die i spent way to much money on all this stuff to try and save him

WOW :WHOA:.... :WTF: What about the 250 you spent on this fish? That's sure a chunk of change in my world. If your going to be so worried about money get out of this hobby. This is an expensive hobby and you are responsible for this life.
I'm going to tell you what you did wrong.
1: You didn't study before you got this fish
2: Your too worried about cost
3: Improper housing: Aquarium rocks (I mean come on), uncovered heater
and
4: Your priorities are way too messed up for this hobby.
I hope for this fish he either dies or you give him to someone. Either would be better.
Just plain SAD :irked:

ur acting like i didn't try to save him, i have tried everything u said to do, and i did study up on it, but one thing i didn't know or was told was to cover the heater, if i would have known then i would of bought a heater with a cage, and ur right i should of tought myself what to do if and when they got sick, but i didn't, ur acting like i don't care, and when i said the 250 i was complaining cause i paid the 250 and now iam paying more and iam told hes gonna die no matter what i do i even called a fish vet a purdue university, and they told me 3 weeks was to long and the dent says no matter what i do he is gonna die, i also called old time aquarium, and they said the same thing, i even called aquatica, and they told me the burn was bad to stop him from eating and 3 weeks without food he was gonna die no matter what i did, i even push all the rock to one side like u guys said to do, so please don't say i don't care cause i do

read my last post I left you on "dent in head thread" before you do anything....
