Some exporter promise me they can ship P14.

Pearls are not so important i think, exporters ask for to much money in compare with the market price

The IBAMA will keep a very close eye on the export. If a exporter is caught shipping the not allowed rays it will be proberly the last ray he will export. They will get a few years prisson. And can close their business.
I don't think they will take the risk for just a few rays.

Some ship it for sure. I get still unreleased pleco types, so exporter even risk to get penality for few cheap plecos. Why dont make same for expensive rays...;)

I have already heard the range of those sales prices. They are not so bad .
Of course, P14 is included in that. As you know the exporters in Brazil still ship so many ban fishes like Cichla, zebra pleco, and more...
So Nobody can stop dealing undescribed species at least.
Now some of Japanese huge companies are getting so many.
It's so funny now some japanese guys started selling DB with lower cost here and Leo price is getting down here.
Breeding for the investment will finally end.

The future is time of a true hobby!!!;)

Well this is sure a break threw. I didnt even read this thread bc i though it was another bs one. Is there any way I can get a hystix?

prices on hystrix aren't going to be much cheaper than the cost of cb hystrix now and also I may be wrong but I think the quota only allows 14cm max size which is pretty small and always risky with young wild caught rays, especially the first ones that are caught and rushed out w/o proper conditioning.. I have a feeling these rays have been in holding tanks for weeks or even months now just waiting for the green light.

BWB, is that price retail, wholesale, or import prices?

Rays started being collected yesterday for first time in years. No one would hold these rays for months and have to worry about getting them eating or having them die. They collect them and within 7-14 days ship them out. My order is being collected now.
