Stingray Feeders

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
My fault, it's not them they are about a inch long. I think they are called river shrimp and most LFS's have them.

if they are clear I think he is refering to ghost shrimps or glass shrimps I have also seen them called them

I have these freeze dried shrimp called "Gammarus Pulex" I do not know the common name, but they are pretty small, I was just wondering if they would be ok to feed to a smaller ray with a disk size of about 4-6''?

I just really want to have a full diet planned for my motoro before I get it so that I know what to feed it as a baby then as an adult.

Any help would be great.

nevermind I found my info, I dont think im going to feed them the Gammarus Pulex, just going to feed them earth worms, shrimp/prawns, blood worms, and sometimes smelt/tilapia filets.

Yep thats what they are called. They are usually in tanks outside.

suddenly raising the front of the disc margin and raising/hollowing its body creates a water pressure difference which sucks the fish and surrounding water under the ray , then the ray manoevers the fish into its mouth. You will know how good a ray is at creating a vacuum if you have ever tried to pry one of your tank glass when it didn't want to move

That is the best answer I could ever expect. Thanks!
