Learned this while reading to my 1st graders today!

Did you know?

Stingrays have been famous for their poisons for thousands of years. The Romans even used thier stingers to stop toothaches!

Anybody else got some fun little known stingray facts?

When people die form stingray attacks, its do to infection.

So dosent really sound logical to sting youself in the mouth.

Fact:

People in the aquarium trade, spend huge sums and time on these fish.

My daughter always tells me stingrays have a tail.(she's only 2 give her a break)

Stingrays like to play with toys like plastic balls (cat toy). One of mine use to bounce it up and down on the front of it's disk in front of it's eyes! Goofy stingray.
