A few days ago i went into my lfs and asked if there was anything i could use to remove the snails from my ray tank?

He said snail kill type products cant be used due to the copper not good for rays

so he told me to buy KUSURI Wormer Plus http://www.kusuri.co.uk/shopping.php?class_id=117

I did this two days ago (then went a way) came back today and my rays are not feeding not swimming never done anything like this before

I have done a 60% water change this hasnt changed anything

Please Help

I would continue to do large water changes to get that crap out of your water.

Then, I would let the rays eat the snails.

This product is excellent for most fish but unfortunately it can have devastating results on rays......why im not sure.
Keep those water changes going and don't use it again with rays.

man that sucks alot yea it its you should send a very angry letter to them. just reading this thread makes me mad :angryfire

wow im so sorry, what kind of ray was it, how big. planning on geting some soon so ill make a not note to use that syiff if i ever have same problem sorry for loss but thanks for shareing for the rest of us

Stingrays are very sensitive to changes in water quality as you could see from your rays not eating or swimming around much when you added that stuff to get rid of the snails in your tank. Personally I wouldn't of worried too much about the sails in the first place, they wouldn't do anything to rays or the water conditions.

Send a letter to them and the local fish store with pictures! If either of them have any customer service they will respond. Also print and send them a copy of this thread so they know this isn't an isolated incident. Others on here have already confirmed what you just found out. From this point forward-do not add chemicals to your tank. Ever.
