So I got myself a 9 foot diameter tank X 2.5 feet tall (1000) gallons roughly) (circle) and I plan on getting a motoro stingray and I heard people say that plecos might not be good to put in...just wondering if people have an opinion of either yes or no? I want to move him out of my tank which he is getting too small for he is 10-12 inches long, but I just want people opinions cause I don't want to risk they rays life

Thanks

It's a risk. I wouldn't risk it but I would add more rays.

Depends on the pleco. I have 3 bristle nose plecos with rays and no problems. With a pond like that, you should get more rays.

I have 1 giant common, 1 green phantom and, 1 small common..the pond has been cycling for a couple days as I am trying to find some rays for sale..I plan on running it for about a months or two with out fish, then slowly add them in

I've had 1 common pleco, never had an issue. You can move him and observe behavior but have a plan to move the llevo back out of it doesn't work
