Hey guys could someone please help identifying what could have happened with my little stingray? His in a tank by himself

The heater is nit covered...I’ll get a cover on ASAP

Don’t understand why is he malnourished cause he eats a lot and anything I throw in
Except for malnourishment. Looks like a heaterdamage, maybe having a uncovered heater?

I use the fluval e heater series to be great and have a full plastic cover besides a small screen displaying the temp.

Thats for sure an malnourished ray as said. Both hipbones visible and sunken in head. Heater burns is the least problem here IMHO. What is your water parameters? Wc schedule? Tanksize? Filtration?

In parameters i mean ammonia, nitrite, nitrate and ph

that ray is on the brink of death. get earthworms/nightcrawlers, feed 2-3 times per day as much as he will eat, and maybe you can bulk him up.
Like others said, is the tank prepared for the waste of a stingray? are you doing waterchanges regular?

I do 25-30% twice a week, I have been feeding him earthworms for the past 2 days now...His in a 200 gallon tank now and the filtration will handle the bio load...Will continue feeding him much more

What kind of filtration? Whats your parameters reading?

here is a pic of my rays back you can clearly see a huge bump from feeding you should not be able to see the hip bones at all. Any disc damage could be heated burn or poor water quality, to much detritus in your filters etc. good luck
