your set up looks barebottom. should be very easy to keep clean. I would say you need to up you turnover rate. also looks like they didn't know what they had from the start. you should ask if they are buying from a local breeder and if they are getting their info that way. or just whatever they order and it comes in they are selling and not knowing the id.

Just vacuum the ray poo out... it's much easier long run considering the water changes that rays require

I do a weekly 50% water Change during which i vaccum ? but inbetween water changes my tank starts to look not so bare bottom to me ?

Thank you i will look into increasing flow and i will ask them about their supplier next time i visit.

Before buying my Stingray I asked them if they could bring in a black diamond for me to which he said nothing except motoro is available.

I don't personally trust my lfs,they said a 40 gallon is enough for a single ray ?

This is him after about 10 months, do you guys still think it's a mantilla stingray. I personally have no idea.

Looks mantilla or mantilla x motoro. Beautiful ray either way man!
