What are you feeding them?

One of mine eats worms......so itkinda look like that.....but worm colored. Looks like worm skin.

"They" are gonna ask about water parameters etc etc......

Lol before they askin ill provide then

0 ammonia
0 nitrite
20 nitrate
Ph 7.2
TDS 190

They eating good as usual.

Ive been feeding them frozen MP + frozen squid wich i mix with seachem garlic before i put it into the fridge.. i also feed them with super worm and frozen bloodworm. I vary the food in every feeding time. I feed em once a day on weekends, and twice a day on weekdays

Yesterday i fed them superworm and a little bit of frozen bloodworm.

The day before i fed them frozen MP wich already mixed with seachem garlic and frozen bloodworm

I'm having the same problem, I have treated with praziquantel and levisimole with no luck I am now trying metronidazole!!! Lost a female pup too and other 3 rays are not as active and have stringy white poo???feeding earth worms and carni pellets!! Not sure what else to do

Ok. Getting outta my wheelhouse now.

"They" should be along shortly.

I find that the poo seems to be similar to the color of the food. So when mine get MS it is kinda white. With brown pellets, brown. With worms, worm skin looking.

The upside is they are eating.

Ok let assume one of my ray gets internal prasite, hence that white poo.. where it could possibly get the parasite when all i feed them are prepared foods ( frozen MP, frozen squid, & frozen Bloodworm), except the superworm.. would it be the superworm caused it?

If the rays are eating normally and maintaining a healthy weight, I would not be too concerned about what their poop looks like. Don't over think things

I disagree. If they are still eating and poops are funny it could be the start of an issue. Often times fish have internal parasites but their system is strong enough to keep it in check and not have their gut ruined.

But any sort of stress can trigger weakness and the parasite can they take over. The fish is eating, go for some.medicated food or presoaked food and see if that helps. If you choose to do nothing, it may allow time for the parasite to continue to take over and the fish eventually stops eating and you will have a hell of a time resolving the problem.

Don't go nuts with meds but nls hex shield sounds like it may be a good option.
