WRONG! :banhim::screwy:

Tea cups is a term used for small (baby rays) Most of those rays will still get to 18+ in, a 120 can house some small rays for a couple months even a year but after that you will need a new tank, so to answer ur question you will need a larger tank

thats true for what tea cup actualy means, but retic rays are commonly sold as tea cups, alot of lfs will say thats what there are. lol its wrong but lots of people do this, retics sold as tea cups. i know i see it all the time. lol shoot last week they had 3 8" rays was marked motro 8" mal an female pair an a male tea cup ray. so i ask, u mean a retic, he said no i baught them on the order list as named tea cup. i lol an walked on. but even retic rays can get quit large.

as for u ? check out the forums under sting rays. lots of info on the types an sizes

given your location that is a very very bad idea....

I kept my first 3 "teacup" rays in a 125 for over a year....of course I knew I was upgrading. My rays are "teacup" also known as reticulated. My largest female is now over 14 inches in diameter and I couldn't imagine her in a 125 it would just be cruel. I have had her for just over 3 years and I got her when she was about 4.5 inches. Alot of people will say they will upgrade but when the time comes they never do it. If you really really want a ray get a bigger tank.
