Stingray Swimming at top often

Hi guys, my stingray suddenly start liking to swim at the top surface last night,it sometimes goes down but it seldom goes up to the surface. I need help is my stingray acting weird? or is it hungry?or just active?please help guys.

Check for ammonia. My ray always does weird things it it gets above .1ppm for more than a day.
also possible its just hungry or curious. cute one btw.

I think its hungry, i've just fed it and its eating well, i'll update you guys soon cheers. Btw, what else do they eat instead of live food?my male one doesn't seems to eat the mp i feed it,only the female one

Or poor electrical grounding. Bottom dwellers seem to be very sensitive to that. I have a good indicator here: my Senegal bichir. Tried if it's true and the tank water zapped me! That's just a few days ago and I have removed the cause now. Could be other things, though. Rays turn reddish (visible inflamed blood vessels) on their underbellies with ammonia spikes.

If its a motoro belive it or.not qe shot a video of our ray and it loves to swim on top nothing wrong with him... Just very active and healthy and hungry i think its.cool i would be worried if it just layed there and do nothin... Just wanted to share that...
