Stingray Symposium update

Well, what i got from the symposium was just the opposite. What we call orbigyni, humerosa, peru flower, etc., even the scientist aren't sure what they are because of the vast variation in visible patterns within a species. I really feel that going to the symposium, makes me less sure an orbigyni is an orbigyni now.

As the great David Webber would say..

I found out I don't even have histrix. It is an unamed species from Brazil.

Isn't it refered to as Potamotrygon sp. "C" and called Cururu by the locals?

Even thought you couldn't make it due the the baby, and I was bummed I couldn't have met ya miles, you did the right thing. Your wife will look back and remember how you ditched what you really wanted to do for her and the baby, even if it didn't happen during the symposium.

So much for making those fun theoretical threads.. they are just wish-wash. I was going to theorize a family tree and/or break down all the species into smaller family groups, just for fun and conversation.. but now its a lost cause and I feel like it would be words wasted.. I think I am just going to wait for the DVD.

are we talking years.. centuries?.. I hear Rosa is a bit slow

yes Gurtulio said Rosa was very slow. I asked him if someone could describe the species if he was taking his sweet time, he said yeah. Maybe someone else down there will get on the ball.
