It should be a simple answer for you guys. I have been reading a lot in this particular forum and most seem to know what their stuff.

My question to you is will a 96x48x24 house 3 Galaxy rays? 2 female 1 male?

hell yea, IF the 48" is the width.... thats a great tank and foot print.

-I agree

Sweet, I was trying to lower the price on my tank. The original foot print was 120x60x30 and way to expensive. So i thought to ask you guys first. So 96x4824 is good then. 1 more question, I dont know how aggressive rays are. Should I make the tank taller so that I wont get stung?

from the little bit of experience I have with rays, they are rather docile creatures. If they get scared they usually just bury themselves. I believe they have to feel very threatened to sting. You shuold be fine with a height of 24"

As long as you are careful you will be fine, rays will not come and sting you because they see your hand in the tank. They will sting if you spook them and they try and get away. Just make sure you know where the rays are at all the time..... Also.... I would suggest buying and keeping a motoro ray prior to spending that kind of cash on p14s. That way you dont make a very expensive mistake.

If thats what you want man, get em. But a motoro or even leopoldi would be a less expensive first try. Goodluck

Sweet that swhy I post here. I am open to opinions, so I will take you guys up on your opinions. THen I will just give the moroto away when Im confident. I want to breed P14. I would sell the pups less than market price. For some reason I just like to breed. Im surprised I dont have more children. LMAO

Anyway, would additional space improve the chances of breeding???
