I vote yes, if the tank is big enough, but so you know that's just the opinion of a novice.

long as your good with feeding more worms lol.... never got my fire eels offa worms but they are even cooler once you own one who begs for his worms. they actually have a row of short spines that run down their back for protection and defense. i used pvc for hide spots. atm dont keep eels with mynrays but do plan on it and alot of people seem to mix the 2 very well. i imagine how aggressive your rays are will play a factor.

I have eels in a different tank than my ray. As posted above, they might be fine together but you should remember that eels need to be a lot more secure than rays and most other kinds of fish. Eels can and will get out of an unsecured tank. They will also try to explore any holes or openings and sometimes they will get stuck. I just had to pull one of my eels out of the filter last week. For the longest time I had that thing pretty secure but he still found a way to get in there. So just keep that in mind. My favorite eel was a big tire track and one day he got out and died. That was a real bummer. He was actually my favorite fish out of all of them.

Agreed, mine was dog tame and ate out of my hand every day, he was at 2ft in a year and then one day squeezed out of the smallest gap and died....was totally gutted ans will not have another as too many jump out, it doesn't seem fair to me.
