Stingray Tankmates

i heard not to put a pleco with rays. Ive been scared to try. Ive heard they can get sick from sucking on the ray-i dont believe it but im more worried about it sucking on the ray then ray turns and stings pleco. SO ive always kept them apart. I wait to see if any one has kept them together
