stingray temp?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
80-85 for me..

78-86 works fine with me, but I have a question about higher temps.

Has anyone seen any practical benefit to keeping rays at ~88F?

No to the 88+ question, I never let them get about about 84 max.

However, one temp might not be the 'end all' for FW rays. They come from all over, and will thrive in various temp ranges based on their native surroundings. Some do very well at 70-73.

I also think annual/seasonal temp swings are a good thing. Keep it as natural as possible.

pending on ray type from 75-86 has worked for me.... in summer months my old 220 would hit 94 in the day and i never had anything other than a very hungry ray when i came home...
