Stingray with catfish?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
what kind of cat do you wanna keep it with?

also tank size would help

well a rtc isnt going to fit in a 750g well i mean i dont see a problem with big cats and stingrays but you might want to get something else like a ripsaw or something else

I've kept a retic with a rtc x tsn. I agree with getting the more gentle cats like ripsaw even thou my rtc x tsn never bothered

I know the RTC won't stay in there for life and when he outgrows it I plan on building a huge tank like thousands of gallons but if that doesn't work I have a good home I can send it to, I can't get rid of any of my catfish lol they are the reason I got into crazy size fish to start with haha what do you guys think the problem will be with mixing 1 with the fish I got? Predation or bullying?

The rtc will likely eat the ray or die trying. It's better to have the tank before the outgrowth being it only takes a few months for the cat to hit a foot.

Hmm.. That sucks, I guess it's not worth the risk then coz I would hate if I lost them both especially my RTC and I know how fast they grow the 750g will be ready within a month and that should last him a while at least, but everything is arranged for him if things don't go to plan he is going in my friends indoor koi pond

It could work depending the size of rtc and size of the ray when you get it. If you do want to try get a large adult ray I say 10"-18" at time of purchase. It also depends if your rtc is aggressive. Mine wasn't so they lived peacefully.
